Hijack or crashes? Russian plane missing in Siberia, at least 13 people aboard
There is news of the disappearance of a Russian passenger plane. At least 13 people were on board the plane. A Russian An-28 passenger plane carrying at least 13 people went missing on Friday during a flight over the Siberian region of Tomsk, local news agencies quoted aviation sources as saying.
Interfax and TASS news agencies said there were 13 people on board while the RIA Novosti agency said there were 17 people.
Earlier this month, on July 6, a Russian plane lost contact. There were 29 people on that plane. Aircraft number An-26 was on its way from Petropavlos in Russia to Palana when it lost contact. According to Russian news agency Tass, the plane lost contact with the control room when it was about to land. According to the local transport ministry, the plane also disappeared from radar.
