Uncontrollable Corona scare in Delhi, record 13,468 new cases and 81 deaths in 24 hours.
The Corona epidemic (COVID-19) in the capital Delhi has caused panic among the people. On Tuesday, after breaking all records for the first time, after receiving more than 13000 new cases of Corona, the total number of infected patients here has reached close to 7.5 lakhs. With this, now the positivity rate has also increased to 13.14%. Today, 81 more patients died of corona infection.
The uncontrollable infection has created a furore in the midst of the ongoing fourth wave of Corona in Delhi. According to the Health Bulletin released by the Health Department on Tuesday, where 13,468 new patients of Corona have been found in the last 24 hours, after the death of 81 more patients, the total number of dead has increased to 11,436. The infection was confirmed in 11,491 patients on Monday.

According to the bulletin, today 7972 patients recovered completely and became corona-free, while on Monday the number was 7665. The Health Department said that the total number of infected in Delhi so far has reached 7,50,156 and 21,954 patients are in home isolation.
Now active cases of corona virus infection have also increased to 43,510 in the capital. At the same time, a total of 6,95,210 patients have become corona free by defeating this epidemic. With this, the death toll has so far risen to 11,436.
According to the Delhi Health Department, today a total of 1,02,460 tests have been done in Delhi. These included 64,544 RTPR / CBNAAT / TRUNAT tests and 37,916 rapid antigen tests. A total of 15,753,100 tests have been conducted in Delhi so far and 8,29,110 tests have been done per 10 lakh people. With this, after the creation of 677 new Containment Zones in Delhi today, their number has also increased to 6852 as compared to 6175 on Monday.
Corona was confirmed in 11,491 on Monday, 10,774 on Sunday, 7,897 on Saturday and 8,521 patients on Friday.
Addressing reporters on Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that this time the Corona wave is very dangerous. Youth and children are being affected more in this wave. He said that 7,50,188 people have been affected by the Corona infection so far in the capital. He said that according to data from 10 to 15 days, 65 percent of the newcomers who are affected by corona are under 45 years of age. The Delhi government is fully vigilant about the situation and is taking all necessary steps to deal with it.
